COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus called coronavirus. There are some countries and areas where there’s a higher chance of coming into contact with someone with coronavirus.

If you think you might have coronavirus or you’ve been in close contact with someone who has it: stay at home and avoid close contact with other people, do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do next. The 111 coronavirus service will tell you if you need to continue to stay at home (self-isolate) or if you need medical help.

Changes to our appointments from 16th March 2020 until further notice.

Due to the rapidly changing COVID-19 (Coronavirus pandemic), we are following national guidance and changing the way we operate until further notice. Any patient with a high temperature OR a new, continuous cough DO NOT come to the practice , a pharmacy or hospital. You need to stay at home for 7 days You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home. No testing will occur here, so please DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE if you think you’re affected as this puts both other patients and our staff at risk. From Monday 16th March ALL patients who ring for an appointment will be given a telephone appointment with a clinician and if a face to face appointment is deemed necessary you will be seen at the practice in a safe way. PLEASE DO NOT JUST TURN UP IF YOU FEEL UNWELL – WE WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE AND RING AND MAKE A TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT.
